I have a question for any herp owners who also have had children during the lifetime of their lizards:
What did you do to ensure your safety and the safety of your kids during/after pregnancy?
I'm in my early twenties right now, and don't have plans for kids in the immediate future. But I definately haven't ruled it out. I could never imagine that it would be a right decision to decrease the quality of life of an animal you accepted into your family, simply because you decided to add another member, but then again, I guess it's possible a person might feel differently if they were in that position.
People with herps and kids, especially babies, how do you balance the two?
