horrible conditions at pet store left me depressed and angry

On the way to the coast I thought it would be nice to stop into a town and visit there petshop. I couldn't believe the condition of there reptiles. They had 5 large iguana's all for sale. They all showed signs of MBD! They were all being housed in small dirty enclosures with no UV! Two were in a cage without any kind of light~ I do not see how they could even eat anymore as there mouths looked all swollen and deformed~ They also had a Uro that was very skinny and some agama's suffering from MBD also! With all these large iguana's dying a slow and horrible death in there store of all things to have they were also selling baby iguana's! I felt so bad for these guys i left that store crying~ The manager was of course not there and when we questioned the employee she instructed us her boss wouldn't let her use the expensive lights they sold in there store in the reptiles cages!!ALso they were feeding the igs on lettuce, carrots and monkey bisquits!!! I am going back there next weekend with the digital camera and get some pics taken and also in the process of doing everything i can to close this place down! If anyone knows of anything i can do to help speed up the process please let me know!! These animals need medical attention! ~ Tif
