Pet shops complaining about "unannounced" inspections... That is complete and total Bu*****t... The ONLY reason a pet shop would have any reason to complain about a surprise inspection was if they KNEW that they weren't up to whatever codes exist that they are governed by. And judging from the results of a few "surprise" inspections that I implemented there's not much that happens to them.
