My ig is about 8 months old...as of right now we're leaning towards the probability of it being male so I refer to him as a he (may very well change our minds later...). Anyway I have a few questions...We've had him for about 3 momths and getting him tamed is coming along pretty well. We took him to a park over the weekend. He's road in the car many times but this was the first time we've had him in the car w/ the top down. He always sits on my lap in the car and as normal sat on my lap the whole time we were in the car. After about 45 mins (we road around for a while before stopping at the park) I noticed his mouth was opened very wide and at first was afraid he was too hot since we had been in the sun the whole time. I remembered the temp was only about 85 out so figured this wasn't the reason...He would hold his mouth open for a few seconds then close it again, after a few seconds he would do it again. He did this about 3-4 times then quit. The only thing I can think of is he noticed our stereo...it's one of those kind that the face flips down and when closed there is no buttons or anything just constant designs and stuff rolling. I was wondering if he might have been scared of it??? Have no other idea of why he was doing this. My other question is about head bobs...I read somewhere the meaning of this but can't remember what it was...I caught him doing this a few days ago while basking in his cage and was wondering if it was a happy thing or an aggresssive thing? Whatever the reason he looked so cute doing it...lol TIA...Alisha
