salmonella question

Hi guys need your help in figuring out a little mystery. My mom owns a golden retrever he is 12 years old. He spent two weeks at my house while she was on vacation. He was fine when he was with me. It has been two weeks since he left and has had loose bloody stools. The vet confirmed that he has samonella. I have owned Myyaa for three years, I have been tested for samonella(negative) and my dogs have never shown any symptoms.My mother lives on a sailboat and the dog has access to water and seagull poo. In your opinion do you think Myyaa could have infected him? or is it more probible that it was something else? My mom is looking for any possible way to blame my Igg for this.
