More on heating pads

Ought oh...Now I'm worried. We use heating pads here quite often for both Habib and Bobbit. Many if not all of you seem to think that they're not good to use. I knew that hot rocks were dangerous because of the threat of burning the iguanas, (one came with Habib when we adopted her from her first owner, but we threw it out a long time ago) but I somehow missed it that heating pads set on the lowest setting were bad to use on a daily basis. (We don't leave them on over night.)
I see that some things need to change around here...I always learn so much from you guys. Thanks for once again steering me in the right direction. What would I do without all of you?
