I have had to bury more then one iguana who's owner thought that about heating pads . There are SAFE products to heat you iguanas with . On the other there are many more cheap alternatives but with all of them comes RISK I know people that have used heat rocks for years without a problem but in my opinion and the opinion of many others who have had to nurse back burned and scared iguanas it is not worth the risk . I would not recommend using ANYTHING for the regular heating of you iguana cage vivarium or whatever except a CHE or a CORRECTLY installed radiant heat panel . Anything else and you asking for trouble it may not come tomorrow but it will come . Why take a chance ?
