I recently went to a pet store and picked out a nice big healthy green female iguana, and she seemed very docile and friendly, but after about 1 week of me owning her she turned incredibly aggressive and mean, I dont understand why, because I take her out of her aquarium every day and I hold her, and I am always very gentle with her, and she isnt eating any meat or anything, just pellets and veggies. This happened about a year ago too, same story, I got a male iguana and the same thing happened, but he was so horribly aggressive that I had to give him too a guy that was willing to care for him, because he whipped and bit me terribly, just as my female is doing now. Although she is vicious I still like her alot and I take very good care of her, but she is growing at an alarming rate and I'm starting to be afraid to go near her, yet I dont want to get rid of her because it isnt fair for her :( Am I doing something wrong? Whats wrong with her?
