First problem here is the main ingredient. ground corn. Ingredients are listed order of quantity. So there is more corn in these products than any other single item. Corn is a cheap filler, that does nothing for your iguana. It is like buting grocery store brand dog food versus the good stuff. Not to say that your iguana cannot live a healthy life on this...while yes it is true that there are no LONG term (15 years - the life of an ig) studies on commercial diets, and therefore no data to say that it is good, the same aplpies in reverse. So yes it is possible that your ig could live a healthy life on this, but to do so, with all that corn, he would have to consume mass quantities of the product to be able to have enough nutrients and vits to grow and be healthy. As iguanas are adapted to be consume a diet more 'packed' in nutrients, this will put more pressure on his system to breakdown and digest the good stuff in there. Not good.
If you want to feed commercial diets no one can stop you, it is your iguana, but please at least consider a better alternative? Look at the label on the ZooMed diets. no corn no fillers. Primary ingredients are Alfalfa, wheat bran, soybean meal, collards, mustard greens, kale. While probably still not perfect, it is better, and your iguana will thank you in the long run.
