Help!! Someone dumped an Iguana off

I work at a vet hosp. and someone dumped a 3 foot Iguana off that they found in their back yard. My Dr checked it and said it is healthy and is a male. He only has 3 legs,( one looks bitten off, but its healed) . What I need to know is how large of a pen does he need, what type of foods to they prefer. I fed him carrots and brocollies but he didn't eat them, also any things they enjoy, such as if they like water or not. I am keeping him the required time while we post an add, then I will either keep him or give him away. I let him run ariund the house last night and he is fairly easy to catch. Any help would be great. Also I plan on putting him in a 4 foot hich by 3 fot wide wire cage that has diff levels so he can walk, is this ok? I have never had a lizard before. Claudette
