Hey there!...Im looking for expert info on the art of growing Hibiscus...from the pro! I remember reading a post of yours some time back about being able to grow a hibiscus bush by planting a branch??? HELP ME!!! otherwise Im gonna implicate you in a CRIME!!!
That's right! lolol Extortion talking!!! Last night was working a childern's unit...their patio had some of the most beautiful hibiscus Ive ever seen! Yellows, pinks, white absolutely beutiful....flowers were hawaiian looking types and big carnation looking types too....So I abscounded with 3 big branches of each (not to mention a 2 week supply of hibiscus leaves...lololol)...loaded em in my car (which is still crawling with ants! btw!) ...what to do?? I put all the branches in buckets of water...for now...but how /what can you tell me about what to do now before I kill em all! Some of the branches have like black bark, and are pretty thick...size of a quarter (?)diameter...I figure these ones are old....will they still grow? Im overdue on some sleep here Im hoping that leaving them in the water for a few hours won't kill them....I hate killing anything (plant, animal, time ;-) musta been a Buddhist in my former life ;-)...I hope my crime was not in vain. Please tell me what I should do here. Thanks a mil!
Nitey nite!
Gina
