a baby iguana

hey!
last summer my son ( step) decided that I was hte one that was gonna bbysit his iguana, he was sort of brown and not moving a lot, his girlfriend gave me an apple, a heat rock, aquarium lined with news paper, a brown iguana, and said here he is.
was told that he was jsut a few months old oh ya he was also missing part of his tail ( nasty window accident)
since I have talked to everybody that I can about them.
I put him on a commercial iguanna diet ( red lumpy stuff) he seems to enjoy it, he never seems to stop shedding, is that normal???? and I spray him with water a lot, how much is too much??? he has turned to a bright green, turned off his heat rock made him a new wire cage ( a huge one) made him a bed ( towel on a shelf) with a black heat lamp ( got it from a reptile store) it is on all the time and a big normal light for heat and light, he don't seem to like many vegies so I don't waste them with him
if any of you can think of anything else that I can do for this little guy et me know
also how do I get him over his bad attitude??? he likes to bite me
