Unless someone there is a herp specialest (highly unlikely), they know jack sh#t about any reptile. Follow to the letter the advice given here.
My main interst has always been venomous snakes, then one day I was given an abused Iguana that I knew nothing about. Me, when an expert speaks, I listen. I am well into a 3rd Ig re-hab, and it too, will be successful.
If you follow the words of these folks, you and your Ig will prosper.
Luck,

: : OK, I'm gonna get slammed for this, but here it goes anyway:
: : If you're going to feed commercial food, do your research carefully! I started my 2 Igs (they were adopted - just little babies that were being mis-treated. I'd never raised Igs, but I had plently of experience with snakes and skinks and such, and thought "how hard can Igs be?" *rolls eyes* I love 'em to death, but boy are they a pain sometimes : : Long story short, they loved the Zoomed stuff (which was a relief - Zoomed's offering was the #1, and T-rex was a close second in terms of nutritional value). Keep in mind that I am talking about the dry variety of juvie Ig food. : : Which brings me to another point. Water. Dry food can cause dehydration, as most Igs get the majority of their water from their food. So my babies get all the parsely and Romaine lettuce they want these days. : : And yes, the greens and the Zoomed dry food both get treated with calcium and vita suppliments. : : Dan
