Bugs/Skin Diseases

I am sister to Frank, who posted a message about mites in our young iguana's cage. I think we have gotten rid of all traces of the little things. Now Duke, our iguana, has black markings on his body, mainly on his back legs, feet and his tail. He also has them on his belly and front legs. I started noticing these along with the mites. Could they have done something to him? If so how can I get rid of them?
