I took my ig to the vet as I was just plain scared. The black areas seemed to be overtaking her beautiful green skin. I also was worried about the cost of the vet. The vet I went to specializes in reptiles. For the office visit and the antibiotics and good advice it cost 65.00

At the Iguana Den website there is a home remedy of using head lice treatments for mite problems. I didn't do that so I don't really know, perhaps someone else here at the forum knows more about that.
