Well, I think a pair of anoles might fit into our school budget, especially if I bought them. I do want to do an experiment with anoles with the kids (see earlier posting), but I might even have to bring in my own Leonora and Francois to do it, or "borrow" some anoles from a nearby pet shop I'm practically living in (stopping in every other day or so to get food for one of my many critters). No, the NYC school system has way too many basic fires to put out to even THINK about anything like a nature center hosting 3,000-5,000 visitors!
