LOL on the iquana. I can't believe I've found another gerbil loving science teacher. A lady I teach with loves them and has 6-7 tanks full of them and breeds several varieties which she offers to students. Don't need to tell you where her unwanted gerbils go do I with a herp lab next door. They are great classroom pets I however was referring to herps. Bearded dragons are relatively odorless, calm, easily handled and fed, large enough to draw students attention, and easily bred in the classroom. Even kids that dislike other herps seem drawn to them. Just an opinion but they seem to work well in every school that uses them.
