crickets

Since Roan is so little, we only feed him 1/2 inch crickets. Most are a decient size, but there are a few huge guys. And yesterday, one of them started chirping. I knew this day would come, but I figured we would be safe for a while since they are not full grown yet. But this one chirping cricket is driving me nutty, and I know that this is just the start of a long life with crickets. So, how do you guys handle the noise, and is it okay to put their rubbermaid container in a closet with the door shut?
Please help!
