I am completely fascinated by behaviour/Ethology. One of the reasons I am going back to school. It's frustrating that there are so many blank spots in the WHY??? department as far as snakes go (o.k., I can see "why" in the case of the rattlesnake reacting to the kingsnake). One of my favorite books is The Evolution of Mystery in Nature. I can't wait to get involved in classes at school that are geared specifically toward this kind of thinking... I hope this post is coherent, I have a large male iguana that is trying his hardest to bite me as I type (bad case of breeeding season blues). He's already gotten one hand.... what more does he want!?
