Two of my sulcatas came to me pyramided, one severely.
Over the two - three years I have had them the pyramiding has almost disappeard.
All new growth is smooth.
They don't get the greens daily, but the diet is supplemented with greens.
Hibiscus flowers they get daily.
These sulcatas are growing slowly and smoothly.
No pyramiding on two of them whatsoever.
The two that arrived with pyramiding are smoothing out nicely.
The baby grazes in the morning, then gets a hibiscus flower. Mulberry leaves and greens round out his diet. No pyramiding at all on that one. Not even one slightly raised scute :)
Please see the link below, it mentions that on top of grazing, hibiscus and opuntia are recommended foods.
Mulberry is another great food.
For me the occasional addition of leafy greens rounds out the diet and ensures they get enough moisture.
