What amount daily? Was an amount mentioned, except for one hibiscis flower?!!!!
LOL.
John you seem intent on pulling my posts apart and arguing every point, for some reason.
I only have to post and you jump on it.I notice I'm the only one. I must be the only person overfeeding, or doing anything wrong, in your opinion I guess.
All we have here are two different opinions, that's all. Constantly arguing the point doesn't make you correct.
I haven't attended Andy Highfields master class as it hasn't been held in Hawaii.I only have your account of Mr Highfields opinions on this subject.
But I do have my own experience and healthy tortoises to go by.Plus the advise of some very well known and experienced keepers/breeders.
What was a very sick, light, near death baby sulcata.
Is now a healthy, active, heavier sulcata.
The small/shallow water dish of clean/fresh water had no adverse effects on this tort. But it did ensure that water was available should he want it.
You don't recommend a water dish for hatchlings/babies, I do, as do several other Tortoise related web sites.A few might recommend against it?
Are they all incorrect/correct? Or simply offering a different opinion or what works for that person?
It works for me and my tortoise.
I'm sure everyone is sick of this and any sensible person is capable of making up their own mind.
Only soak or offer water as well?
Whatever works for them and their tortoise is the correct way to do things.Whichever way they choose.
Terry.
