You can tell he's an indoor tortoise, he's so clean!
Looks good, only mild pyramiding.
My daughters friend has a sulcata about the same size, kept indoors a lot and looks pretty similar. Although she's a lot lighter and doesn't have any dark growth areas.
Scutes are about the same too, slightly raised.

The second one looks a bit like my Little Bubba looked when I first got him, the pyramiding not the shape.
Bubba is now 14" and smoothing out. Although he has a couple of scutes that are a tiny bit sunk down.
He's outdoors gets plenty of sun, and calcium and vitamin supplements twice a week.Maybe it was caused by a lack of calcium before I got him and then his initial growth spurt.

The smoothest young sulcata I've seen so far is Lindas little female, beautiful growth.

Chris Tabaka (sp)is starting a pyramid experiment with around 30-40 hatchling sulcata. But I guess it will be a while before any results are in.

What greens do you feed Speedy EJ, just curious?
I feed mostly, Endive, Romaine, escarole and Turnip greens, with *small* amounts of kale or collards added in.

Hoku has grown quite a bit since his attack. It's weird he is more active and eats more now, than before the attack.
