I know people who have bred sulcatas in 2 years and they produced viable eggs.
Now some may think my tortoises are growing too slow. I don't know of any population studies of the sulcata and what is their growth rate in the wild. 'normal' is very relative. During times of good rain growth is going to be rapid and so on. Now, as far as the quality of the food if it is getting a ballanced diet who really cares what that diet is. Grahm said he is feeding fruit but at the same time he mentioned that the tortoise does not drink alot. (ballance)
