Bogertophis subocularis subocularis; Care, and questions?

I'm very interested in getting some Trans pecos rats and I was looking for husbandry advice or a great care sheet. I have heard very mixed views on keeping this species like, you must not give them water or they will die, I have also read that water can make them regurgitate? Any and all advice is appreciated.
