Typical taiwan behavior?

I have a young, captive born female taiwan that is unlike any snake I've had before. She has learned exactly where to hide so she can rush the door to her enclosure the moment I open it. Her movements in the enclosure when I'm around resemble that of a jameson's mamba I saw at the St. Cloud Reptile Serpentarium. It's a little weird to me since I'm used to corns and pits.
