I was at one Hamburg show and I saw the snake and didn't buy it. The next show I attended was about four months later, they have like 4 per year I think, so I even skipped one, guess what same snake, I even asked, it wasn't 3 inches bigger, I assume he wasn't feeding it very often LOL, but it still looked perfectly healthy and robust, I bought the snake which was about 14 inches at the time and over one year old already, then when I got it, I fed it normally and it's growth pattern astonished me, it has not slowed down and will probably get to record size, it can eat rats now easily, but I feed her 3 jumbo mice every 14-21 days, she then starts getting fat, I then fast her for one month, this is when the growth occurred, during the "fast" she thins out and grows, so it's either my feeding strategy, her genetics, or her previous owners lack of feeding her, I have a new neonate and I will compare their growth rates on the same exact feeding schedule, yes I keep accurate records of all feedings, sheds (entire cycle from start to finish),
defecation, and any some behavior notes.
