I know there is more to rattlesnake roundups than just the killing part, but I will ignore that for a second as most people who took the poll probably aren't aware of that fact. If they were to replace the rattlesnakes with cattle and have a fair built around the cattle and games involving cattle, then at the end of the fair slaughter and sell every part of the animals, most people probably wouldn't think of that as animal cruelty, either. I don't think the attitude has anything to do with snakes, just killing animals in general. Can't say I have a problem with that attitude, I kill and eat animals myself.
