Guys,
This is my second and last post about this.
It is just MY OPINION and I am just putting it up for discussion.
A new site has been posted on kingsnake.com that sells rattlesnake skins, ribs, teethe and rattles and I beleive can cure the skin of your dead snake to "preserve" the memories> I find this deplorable, not the people who are doing it, but the business of it. True...same thing could be said about me because I keep snakes locked up and sell their offspring. It remeinds me to much of rattlesnake roundups, which as we all know are implicated in the reduction and demise of local populations of Eastern Indigos, Gopher tortises, and lastly Eastern Diamondback rattlesnakes. This out fit only harvests Road killed specimane, I think that is what it said. But I feel like it sets the wrong moral tone. Who's morals , you ask? why MY morals, you silly rabbit!! Funny i didnt get up in arms about the guy that advetises animal and reptile skulls on here, but this one seems to bother me, primarily because it shows the skin, teeth etc as fashion adornements. What do you think? I know that I come out of line every so often, and often am off track in my thinking, but want to know what you think about this subject. Lets hear your input, and for those of you naysayers that inflict harmfull things, let the arrows fly!!
Curious,
Fred Albury
