make your points well...If the advert is true about DOR specimens,maybe it not too bad..However,they must get specimins from somewhere..How do they know they were DOR??...I doubt they do all of their own gathering....My opinion..Bad Idea..Carl
: I see your point. I don't feel like the practice of preserving DOR snakes at a private level is wrong, though. I myself have over 50 preserved skins of DOR snakes, and many are the only representatives of a species that I have ever found. I can see the downside to marketing these on a commercial level as it publicly promotes snakes as purses, hatbands, and earrings and not as beautiful and essential parts of the ecosystem. I hate the thought of a perfectly good DOR rotting away on the pavement and I think that immortalizing them in some way is the least that can be done. Let's hear some other opinions.
