help what can i get instead indigo

I'm 14 years old, and i want and indigo snake badly.obviously
that's not possible, because i have neither a permit, nor
$400 to spend on one. Does anyone know what could be a nice
"substitue" for one regarding size & resemblance until I'm old
enough to get an indigo? some king of black rat or kingsnake?
I want something that gets over six feet, but no biods.
any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
