if the beginner DOES feed with prekilled, they will not have any problem whatsoever giving prekilled to the black milks.
what i found pretty neat was that i was able to give the blackmilks i hatched prekilled as their first meal, and they took it with very little encouragement! you cant get any easier for a beginner snake, especially if you prefer giving prekilled (which is alot cheaper and easier).
i've never handled a black pine, so i cant say for certain, but from the pictures i've seen, it seems pretty rare for a black pine to be as black as the blackmilk.
finally, all of my blackmilks, including the babies, are extremely docile.
well, except for a couple of my females, who will try to kill you when they think you are feeding them (does that sound familiar here?). once they know you arent feeding, they are quite gentle and will let you do anything to them.
these are great snakes, but after all is said and done, nothing really compares to an indigo.
: Well done Scott!
