Ive never heard of a Spilote before ....

However, Ive seen many false water cobras--infact the snake store i go to in san jose has a large one for sale--there was no lable on the tank and just by looking at it i thought it was a drymarchon--but they set me straight.

Can somebody elaborate on what a Spilote is? Any other common names? Where are they from?
