...Just received the worst bite from a colubrid in my many years of wrking with snakes. My female yellow-tail (wild caught about 2 mos ago). I was just reaching in to grab her hide box to see if she had eaten...and WHAM !!! Blood everywhere! She hit and pulled back, creating a nice, clean, razor-like laceration on my index finger. ow.

Deep. I've had bites from large boids that didn't bleed like this!!

fun fun fun. I LOVE these guys!!
