Hey Dean,in a previous life as a snakekeeper, I had some getting the food in the cage with lesser snakes (florida kings in particular). I don't look forward to that with my baby indigo.
Since these guys are so "intelligent", what would happen if I tried to condition them such that I would remove them from their cage *before* I feed them, then return them to a cage which has a mouse placed in it by a second person (my wife, fat chance of that, I know).
Seems like it would make them want to leap into their cage (not a bad thing), but be cool about being taken out.
I'm a newbie, and bow to your superior knowledge (and more massive scarring!), but what do you think?
George (named after Mr. Harrison, who passed away a day or two before I got him) is an eating machine and doing great. Thanks a lot!
