Snake Dwarfism

I have an aquaintance who owns a very strange D.c.couperi. It has the head size and girth of a 7 foot snake but is only 3 feet long. He told me it was a "dwarf". I'd never heard of this kind of aberration before. I'd seen small adult individuals of a species but never anything like this indigo. It appears as if someone removed the middle 2/3 of its body and stuck the pieces back together. Anyway, I'm going to try and pass by his place later this week and maybe I'll get some pics to share.
