:I would echo those comments..I've got a Tx Female that is just 4'..Hard to call her a dwarf, but still is small...She is at least 4 yrs old...Other than size, she's a typical Texan..Frequently bluffs and scares folks, but has never bitten anyone..(I was born in The Republic of Texas and lived there the majority of my life, so I can legitimately make those comments..You're never an "Ex-Texan")
I knew a guy who had a dwarf female too. It wasn't that small, but it was at least 5 or 6 years old, large head and thickbody, but maybe only 4 feet.
: It was a very strange snake. You had to really study it to believe it was an eastern indigo. It would flatten it's neck out like a hognose, not vertically which is typical of Drymarchon. and it would BITE.
: Strange litte mutant it was looked like a forest cobraCome to think of it, maybe it was a cobra.
: (kidding)
: He never tried to breed it. I think it's at a zoo now. Should have tried Ripley's believe it or not.
: I have no idea whose stock it came from.
: ...funny the large number that are popping up in this little conversation when you consider how few are in capitvity compared to other snakes.
