Huhmm, so you've found them near Freer? Next time I'm down that way I will definetly take a look. But isn't most of that land fenced off ranch land. I know for a fact you really don't want to piss off ranchers...also I've seen Border Patrol vans all over that area.
So where are these open rocky areas neer Freer? Lots of mesquite flat ranch land with Opuntia cactus or at least that's what I see from the road.
