I recently bought a White's tree frog 3 weeks ago. For the first two weeks he would stay on a limb or stay on the side of the tank durning the day, now he is going under the moss during the day, is this normal, or is it an indication that somthing in the cage needs to change?
Here is the cage description if it will help anyone figure out what is wrong if anything:
20 gallon tank,
Small rocks on the bottem with moss on top of the rocks,
Large climbing branch that allows hinding places,
Large shallow water dish,
The back of the cage is covered,
UV 60 watt daytime light,
UV 60 watt night-time light,
Cage gets misted about 3 times a day,
He gets fed 3 times a week 5 gut-loaded crickets dusted with vitamin and calcium dust,
Cage gets cleaned weekly.
Is there somthing I am missing? Or is this nothing to be worried about?
