:what is the actual temp inside the tank? probably too hot or the frog needs better/more hiding spots. get a snake plant. glue some cork bark to the back wall. I also wouldn't use moss and gravel. the gravel will get swallowed and the crickets just hide in the moss and make a mess. bed-a-beast/composted leaves mix is best and it helps alot with the humidity. misting 3 times a day seems excessive to me. if a white's has a clean shallow water bowl to sit in at night that is more than enough. I assume the water is changed every day and don't use straight tap water.
Thankyou for your response! I have a few questions about some of your suggestions:
Would it be too hot even if I have the lights raised up about 4 inches above the top of the cage?
I was thinking maybe he would perfer a better hiding place myself. I work at a pert store (superpetz) they carry a hollow log for snakes . . . does this sound like a good hiding spot? and would it be safe?
Where can I get bed-a-beast?
Where can I get a snake plant?
And yes, the water is changed every morning with declorenated water. :D
