I received my male Argentine B&W Tegu (born July 2002) from Bert at Agama International last Saturday. Bert informed me that he just emerged from hibernation
(the Tegu, not Bert) and that he may not eat for a week or so. As soon as I put him in his indoor enclosure, he buried himself under the substrate (cypress mulch) and has only come out once to bask under the heat lamp and then he just buried himself again. Has anyone else had this experience? I need some advice!

Thanks,
Larry
