You reckon that a mass spectrometry journal gives a crap about snake taxonomy! ;-) The liked it becuase it was a novel and thorough application of analytical mass spec.

The issue at hand is nothing so mundane as a debate on taxonomy but rather one of duplicitous behaviour. Specifically, Raymond doctored one of our figures but presented it in his webpost without mentioning the changing. Quite a simple issue.
