The name for the Ceram adder is not likely to be valid. I know there is a old Belgian description of the adder. Indeed, I even told this to Raymond in 98. Just reread the old emails and sure enough it was there. I clearly told him that I knew of an old description and was quite positive that it was a new species. I haven't been able to locate the references but know its out there. Perhaps if Raymond had encountered further, he may have found it.
