Bill,

That makes me feel much better. I haven't seen my alligator snapper eat since I got him a couple of weeks back. There were 24 4-5 inch shiners in his pond and I find some floating every day but none seem to have been bitten. Maybe I'll try to count them soon and see if I can figure out if he's eaten any. About 9 dead ones have been tossed out into the yard.

:Being that the environment is so un-natural for them, out in the open with all the people around, some of the animals do not accept the food. The alligator snapper is one of them - in fact, I've never seen him eat and I've had him for three years.
