You might want to ask people like Mr. Moss, Mr. Richards or Mr. DeVries (or anyone else that deals with large ali'snaps)regarding the appropriate weight for a 19" straight line carapace ali'snap.

I'm pretty sure they have dealt with many large ali'snaps then I have (pretty much nada) and can give you a better idea what a healthy weight should be.
