Allen,

I had a feeling that you would respond to my post. Indeed, baby food (fruit based) has a negligible amount of protein and "doesn't do much to provide nutrition to your gecko." You like plugging your diet and that is fine, but please understand that I too have done extensive research and found that I get the best results with my particular feeding regimen. When gut loading the feeder crickets, I spare no expense. It has taken about fifteen years to come up with my "buffet" of ingredients for gut-loading the feeder insects, and the production of my animals is beyond anything in published literature. All of my R. ciliatus are consistently producing 13+ clutches a year, without any signs of bone density loss or other other ailments attributed to high production rates. Allen, I would love to take your challenge and be proven wrong. The bottom line is the health of the geckos. Are you going to fund my research? If so, I will will raise 1/4 (about 75 or so) of my juveniles on the diet and be happy to post the results here and on my site.

Respectfully,
Nathan S. Hall
