***sigh*** if it ain't one thing its another....Ive been going round and round with the hospital where Feo had his surgery about ...an injury he sustained while there. Feo has all of his what maybe three foot long tail...when I went to pick him up following the surgery....I noticed right away that about 1-1.5 inches of his tail was bent, and all the scales, skin around it was literally crushed and ripped off, skinned. I asked the tech...what happened to his tail...she told me "its part of the normal shed process" ...so anxious to get Feo back home I didn't think a thing more about it. I called the next day to tell the hospital...Someone either stepped on his tail, slammed it in a door, or something, because his tail was NOT like that prior to taking him. "He must of thrashed it on his way home". Theres nothing in his chart saying anything unusual happened ...(but of course)...No one here knows what you're talking about" Look lady I pointed out to the tech last night that something had happened to his tail. "Bring him in we'll have the Dr. examine him.Yeah right!....So now Im off to take him to another hospital and see about having to amputate that 1-1/2 inches before infection sets in. ...Im telling you there is just no accountability anywhere. Just another thing to be p.o.'d about.
