I think its time for a strongly worded letter to your vet. Describe EXACTLY what you saw when you went to pick up Feo and the tech's response. I would then ask that they reimburse you FULLY for any additional expense you incurr because of the tail injury. I'd go on and simply state that if this arrangement cannot be met, I would suggest that they contact their malpractice carrier. Good luck and an air kiss to Feo's tail from us.
