That's disgusting. People can be so awful sometimes. I had a similiar incident like that when I got my cat "fixed". They let some college student operate on her (Without asking *us* first! Hmph!) and the student didn't quite finish the job. A month later, we couldn't figure out why Tiger was meowing and acting strange again...
Tell all the reptile owners around you about that vet so they know not to go there again!
