Dear Iguana lovers,I have concerns about my male iguana,KIWI,i adopted him, he had been in 3 different homes. He has been with me for about a year,he has come a long way.He is docile and funloving however i have concerns about his shedding process, his lighting, and his "heat"phases.i feed him organic greens, some fruit and some vitamins-I let him roam around this makes him happy. He is finally filling out,he's growing but i still need to discuss his living conditions and health, habits with someone who has a male iguana. He has grown accustomed to me and his surroundings, i tried to take him outside,i used a leash, he just kept flipping himself around like an alligator,he is afaid of outdoor noises such as cars, motorcyles, loud noises i live a relatively quiet life, so he has gotten used to it.he seems lonely at times, i have given him a limegreen stuffed frog he loves it but now that he is getting older, i don't think that will do!!??? I love kiwi,i want him to have a good life, can anyone help...?I need to compare notes..
