I read in a book that some Ig's like other pets that they can watch. If you are concerned about KIWI being lonely you might consider getting a little pet that he can watch. Something that can be contained in something that the Ig can't get to it, and it can't get to the IG. I have a Guina Pig that my Ig likes to watch. Good luck.
